Two members of Theatre South have been selected to participate in the 2027 Indiana All-State Thespian production. Theatre South troupe president Madilyn Mason (senior) and troupe webmaster Graham Barnes (sophomore) are part of the cast and crew for this year's production of Middletown. Mason is serving as the production's stage manager, while Barnes is performing in the role of Cop. The first rehearsal was held on August 30.

The All-State Thespian production gives both students the opportunity to collaborate with students, educators, designers, and technicians from throughout Indiana. The play will be directed by Amy Hayes performed on Friday, January 22, 2027, at Lawrence Central High School as part of the Indiana All-State Thespian Conference.
