Opportunities

At South we will be attending two ITS conferences.

Regionals:
At regionals, South will be taking a One Act to compete and find out if we will be making it to the State Conference. In addition, there will be workshops and learning opportunities for anyone who is a South Thespian. At these workshops, students will get a chance to expand their knowledge from professionals in the theatrical field!

State:
At State, we hope that we will be able to compete our One Act. However, there are also workshops, Thespys, tech challenges, and college auditions/interviews. Professional workshops will help South Thespians improve their skills. Thespys will provide an opportunity for students to perform a short piece or showcase a technical project and receive feedback from experts. The tech challenge is where a team of four will compete in various technical skill challenges to determine which school has the most efficient Grips (stage hands) in the state. Lastly, there are opportunities to audition and interview for theatrical college programs.
